The wines of Philippe Fontaine, now produced by daughter Salomé, are spectacular values when it comes to small-production, grower Champagne. The "Tradition" is actually a blanc de noirs, comprised of 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Pinot Meunier. 2 years on the lees gives it richness and depth. Bottom line, this Champagne would be a value at twice the price.
