Champagne-method sparkling wine but not as bougie as the name might suggest. Bugey is actually a well-know region in the east of France just under the Alps. Fossil-laden limestone soils make for great sparkling wines and linear reds. This laser-focused bubbly is bright, vibrant, citrusy bursts of flavor rounded off with 4 months of ageing on the lees. Amazing with shellfish and ever so pleasant for a hearty "Salud!"
