With a business partner who's knocking on 60 and about as adventourous as a 90-year old Republican, it was a hill worth dying on for me to represent the wonkier outliers for this curated list of wines. Mix #4 is lightly funky with a slight nod to every normie winemaker out there, whilst still saying "Hold my beer...". Sour cherry notes mingle with cigar leaf, ripping acidity and mild barnyardy boysenberry. Great with funky or aged cheeses or perfect for pizza night.
