I've long been visiting Mexico...no, not Cabo or Tijuana- Guadalajara. Not only is it the home of tequila and the most striking women on the planet, but it's one of the most adventurous and unknown wine regions in the world. Yes I said WINE from Mexico and you should seriously consider it. There is a real terroir to the soils that no matter the grape shines through in a dusty, garrigue fashion. It adds a slightly rough edge to an otherwise polished and bold glass.
