Between you and I 2014 is a sleeper vintage. Even with a vintage rating of 93 points the valley seemed to struggle with what mother nature gave them. Ive had some really ropey wines. Comprized of 72% Cabernet and 28% Cab Franc the Viader proprietory red is perfumed, complex, elegant and far more bordeaux like than most vintages Ive tasted. It shows red and balck currents dried flowers and underbrush/Garrigue nuances with medium to full bodied texture, and good acidity. It doesnt knock you over with its boldness but more with its elegance and grace. this is aproachable now but will cruize in the cellar as well.
