The 2016 Proprietory Red is a brute of a wine that focuses on its mountain terroir suported by burly black fruit and savory elements in the glass. Crushed rock, lavender, licorice and toasted oak are the overriding factors here followed by a secondary wave of complexity that defies description. Its just aproaching its window of accessibility but would happily rest in your cellar for a a wee spell. I might even hazzard a guess of 2030.
